Nadia Bolz-Weber Reflecting on Beloved Community

December 1, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Nadia Bolz-Weber, best-selling author (Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People and Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint), is an ordained Lutheran pastor (ELCA), something some find hard to believe. Maybe it is the sleeve tattoos or the fact that she swears like a truck driver. Either way, she’s fine with it.

Nadia is the founder of House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, Colorado, a quirky congregration she had served for over 10 years. She travels domestically and internationally to speak to full houses and has been featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, On Being with Krista Tippett, Fresh Air and CNN, as well as in the Washington Post, Bitch magazine, More magazine, and The Atlantic. Her international media coverage includes BBC World Service, The Guardian and magazine features in Germany, Poland, and Switzerland. Her upcoming book, Shameless: A Sexual Reformation, will be released in January of 2019.

In this talk, Nadia shares her thoughts on the theme of Beloved Community. Along with the presentation on Saturday evening, she preaches at the following day’s worship services at 8:00am, 10:00am, and noon.
