Looking for ways to be in community with others who are answering the call to follow Jesus in the world of racial justice, creation care, and evangelism right now, when our world needs it the most?

Each Friday, from 10-11:30am, Becoming Beloved Community organizing circles gather to deepen spiritual practice and to build power and make justice in our world.

The Way of Love circle centers spiritual practices, focusing on one of the seven practices including Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, and Rest. These spaces serve to sustain us as we follow Jesus as healers, reconcilers, and justice-makers in the world.

The Justice Circle has been self-organizing around issues of voter registration + criminal justice reform; housing; movement building + sustained action with The Episcopal Church; youth anti-racism; interfaith organizing; symbolic action. Running notes from these self-organizing groups can be found here.

On Friday, June 26, 2020 Mary Aguilera, Co-Chair of the State Coordinating Committee of the Ohio Poor People’s Campaign for National Moral Revival joined the Justice Circle to channel growing energy into movement building.

You are invited to join us! Now is our time. Contact ahowton@diosohio.org for details.
